Lantern Camp Orland – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Lantern Camp. Our goal is to provide an experience rooted in nature, while ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. Our terms and conditions are below.

Guest Responsibility & Liability:
Lantern Camp is located in a natural setting comprising wooded and cleared areas in Orland, Maine. Our property features rural and mostly undeveloped land, and guests are fully responsible for their own safety while enjoying the outdoors. Guests should have basic wilderness awareness, including but not limited to: avoiding interactions with wildlife, properly storing food to prevent attracting animals, and exercising caution on uneven terrain.

Lantern Camp is not liable for bodily injury (including death) or damage to personal property, including vehicles, due to exposure to inclement weather, wildlife, or the natural, rugged environment. By booking a stay at Lantern Camp, guests acknowledge and accept these risks and affirm they are prepared to navigate a rural setting responsibly.

While Lantern Camp is designed to provide a peaceful and secluded experience, our cabins and shared facilities are used by all guests. We take reasonable measures to keep these spaces safe and clean; however, Lantern Camp is not liable for any illness, allergic reaction, or other health issue that may arise from exposure to allergens, flora, fauna, or other natural hazards. Guests are responsible for taking necessary health precautions.

Pet Policy:
Dogs are allowed on the property for a $59 pet fee per stay. Dogs must remain on leash when outside. Dogs must not be left unattended in the cabins or anywhere on the property. Dog waste must be cleaned up immediately.

Guest Conduct & Property Rules:
Quiet hours begin at 9PM and last until 7AM. Open flames are permitted only in designated firepit areas. Never leave food or trash outside as it will attract wild animals. Smoking is prohibited inside cabins.

Parking:
Parking is available on-site for registered guests only. Vehicles must be parked in designated areas on white tire bumpers.

Cabin assignment, door code, and gate code access are sent via SMS text message.

Required for parking identification and property security.
